Position Overview: SafeGuard Family Health is on the lookout for a dedicated Finance and Accounts Specialist to join our team and support our financial operations. Key Responsibilities: Financial Management: Oversee and manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable Prepare and maintain financial statements, budgets and forecasts Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions Accounting Operations: Manage the month-end and year-end close processes Perform reconciliations of bank statements and financial data Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy in financial reporting Compliance and Auditing: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and accounting standards. Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and prepare audit reports. Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and implement necessary adjustments Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights to management Prepare financial reports and presentations for stakeholders Support strategic decision-making with financial analysis and modeling Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development and management of the annual budget Monitor and report on variances between actual and budgeted figures Provide recommendations for budget adjustments and improvements Safeguard Family Health Private Limited No.22/2, 1st Floor, Sardar Patel Road, Adyar, Chennai - 600 020 Qualifications: § Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field. § 5+ years of experience in finance and accounting roles, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment. § Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards. § Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and MS Office (especially Excel). § Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. § Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. § Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
