Job Description

Financial Analysis & Reporting
:

Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Conduct variance analysis to explain differences between actual results and budgeted or forecasted figures.
Create detailed reports for management, highlighting key trends, performance metrics, and potential risks or opportunities.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Accounting Operations
:

Manage and perform month-end and year-end close procedures, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
Support accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions by ensuring accurate and timely processing.
Reconcile various general ledger accounts to ensure all transactions are properly recorded.

Budgeting & Forecasting
:

Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor performance against budget targets and provide explanations for significant deviations.

Compliance & Audits
:

Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other regulatory standards.
Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, analysis, and explanations as needed.

Process Improvement
:

Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
Participate in the implementation and testing of new accounting software or systems.
