Role Overview: Wipro Limited is seeking a skilled individual to join as a NAS Storage Specialist. As a part of the team, you will play a crucial role in the technical lead on initiatives and projects, ensuring the global NAS estate's availability, performance, stability, and resilience. Key Responsibilities: - Act as the technical lead on initiatives and projects, taking accountability for their delivery. - Provide strong guidance and direction as a NAS subject matter expert, ensuring successful outcomes. - Possess in-depth technical knowledge of NAS and the NetApp product suite and technologies. - Ensure the global NAS estate meets expected service levels and is available, performant, stable, and resilient. - Utilize automation technologies to simplify processes and enhance efficiencies. - Collaborate with peers in the Storage and Backup Team to engineer solutions, develop designs, new products, standards, and roadmaps. - Conduct ad-hoc capacity and performance sizing exercises, offering coherent recommendations with defined outcomes. - Deploy, build, test, and integrate new assets into production following procedural, technical, and security standards. - Participate in data migrations with zero incidents, demonstrating awareness of migration flow, prerequisites, testing, success criteria, and risk mitigation. - Employ advanced troubleshooting skills in responding to incidents, including major incidents and escalations. - Participate in the on-call rota for escalations and major incidents, and provide support as required.
