We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Technical Consultant with specialized knowledge in Campus Solutions to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on proficiency in technical aspects of PeopleSoft, including Application Engine, PeopleCode, and Component Interfaces, along with a comprehensive understanding of academic modules such as Student Enrollments and Campus Community. As a detail-oriented professional, you will be responsible for delivering robust, scalable, and performance-optimized solutions in the higher education sector. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain technical solutions within the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions framework. - Customize and enhance components using Application Engine, PeopleCode, Component Interface, Application Packages, File Layouts, and SQL. - Manage and support modules including Campus Community, Academic Structure, and Student Enrollments. - Develop and deliver high-quality BI Publisher (BIP) reports. - Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and optimize the performance of existing systems. - Collaborate with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and developers to deliver end-to-end solutions. - Participate in code reviews, unit testing, system integration testing, and deployment activities. - Ensure adherence to documentation and version control procedures. - Provide knowledge transfer and support to junior team members as required. Mandatory Skills & Technical Expertise: - Strong hands-on experience in PeopleSoft Campus Solutions (CS). - Proficiency in Application Engine, PeopleCode, Component Interfaces, File Layouts, Application Packages, Campus Community, Academic Structure, Student Enrollments, BI Publisher Reporting, and Advanced SQL scripting. - Experience in Agile/Hybrid environments. - Ability to analyze requirements, design scalable solutions, and maintain data integrity across systems. Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Experience in the Higher Education domain or with Universities. - Exposure to integrations with third-party tools or middleware (e.g., REST/SOAP APIs). - Familiarity with global Campus Solutions implementations. PeopleSoft Technical Consultant Time & Labor & Payroll Location: Remote Experience: 8+ Years We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Technical Consultant specializing in Time & Labor and Payroll modules. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the technical design, development, customization, and ongoing support of PeopleSoft HCM solutions, ensuring seamless integrations, optimal performance, and compliance with business and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities 1. Technical Development & Customization Design, develop, and customize PeopleSoft Time & Labor and Payroll solutions using PeopleTools (Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR). Build and modify components (pages, records, fields, processes) to support time rules, payroll calculations, and reporting requirements. Develop custom bolt-on applications or extensions tailored to specific business needs. 2. System Integration Develop and maintain interfaces between Time & Labor, Payroll , and other modules (Core HR, Benefits) or third-party systems (General Ledger, tax tools). Implement and troubleshoot Integration Broker setups, web services, and file-based integrations for seamless data exchange. Ensure data integrity and optimized performance during integrations. 3. Configuration & Technical Support Provide technical support for system upgrades, patches, and PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) activities . Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to batch processes, online transactions, and system performance . 4. Testing & Validation Develop and execute unit, integration, and performance test scripts for Time & Labor and Payroll processes. Debug and resolve technical issues during testing phases, ensuring compliance with payroll regulations and time policies. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by addressing technical defects and delivering solutions. 5. Reporting & Analytics Design and deliver custom reports and queries using PeopleSoft Query, SQR, nVision, BI Publisher . Optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, analytics, and troubleshooting . Build dashboards or analytical tools to support audits and strategic decision-making . 6. Documentation & Knowledge Transfer Prepare technical design documents, specifications, and integration guides for customizations. Provide knowledge transfer sessions and create technical user manuals for ongoing maintenance. Support end-users with troubleshooting documentation and technical guidance. 7. Performance Optimization & Maintenance Monitor and optimize system performance , including batch jobs and online processing. Apply necessary patches, bundles, and updates to ensure stability and compliance with Oracle standards. Recommend and implement best practices for sustainable PeopleSoft development and support.
