Field Technical Assistant

You will be joining Sapience Publications as a Field Technical Assistant on a 1-2 month contract role based in Tamil Nadu. In this position, you will be required to travel extensively within Tamil Nadu, with occasional travel outside the state. As part of the team, you will be responsible for visiting schools across Tamil Nadu to perform on-site app installations and setups. Your role will involve assisting school staff with basic training and troubleshooting during installations, setting up projectors, laptops, and related hardware at school locations, as well as ensuring proper documentation and reporting after each site visit. To be successful in this role, you should possess a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or any technical field. Fluency in Tamil is essential, while basic English proficiency is preferred. We welcome candidates with 2 years of experience, although freshers are also encouraged to apply. Familiarity with Android/iOS app installations and basic IT support is advantageous. The role requires a willingness to travel extensively, including to remote areas. Preferred qualifications include previous experience in a field support or tech deployment role, as well as owning a two-wheeler and holding a valid driving license. Sapience Publications will provide accommodation and petrol allowance for outstation travel.
