Field Service Representative (Gas Turbines)

Your role at Solar Turbines as a Field Service Engineer/Representative (FSR) in the India office involves being the company's technical and administrative representative, handling customer service assignments such as on-site preventive maintenance, inspection service work, call-out services, and commissioning activities on Solar gas turbine packages. You will report directly to the Field Services Supervisor (FSS) and must possess basic knowledge and experience in maintaining all Solar product lines. Key Responsibilities: - Understand and comply with Solar and customer HSSE policies and procedures, attending safety meetings, and completing required safety trainings. - Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded by conducting maintenance activities according to company policy, manufacturer's recommendations, and best practices. - Proactively identify electrical/mechanical abnormalities and safety hazards, taking necessary actions to prevent equipment damage. - Coordinate equipment histories, forecast utilization and efficiency, and communicate effectively with supervision and customers. - Analyze and solve problems independently, demonstrating sound judgment and technical knowledge to repair mechanical/electrical components/systems. - Assist in preventive/corrective maintenance both individually and with assigned FSRs, ensuring services are in line with Solar Engineering specifications and HSSE policies. Qualifications Required: - Degree in Electrical Engineering with 3 to 15 years of related industry experience. - Technical proficiency in Instrumentation, Controls, and Electrical aspects, with openness to handling mechanical work. - Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and willingness to travel >75% for work. - Experience in an offshore work environment is desirable.,
