• Responsible for overall Instrumention & Automation system design, construction and commissioning activities related to Green Field Alumina Refinery Project. • Responsible for all the Instrumentation discipline activities, coordination with construction management at project site, coordination within the design and construction team of internal and EPCM Consultant and ensure that projects delivered are technically fit for purpose and meet the statutory requirements. • Define project scope/battery limit for all Instrumentation engineering activities and participate in preparing tenders • Review and approval of Tender documents, procurement specifications, technical calculations as necessary, etc. and carry out technical evaluations • Review and approval of Technical & Engineering Specifications, documents, drawings, Field Instruments & DCS architecture, cable routing, Inspection & Test Plans, 3D model, etc. during BE, FEED and detailed engineering phase of the Project. • Coordination with PMC, FEED and EPC contractors during all phases of the project from Owner side for developing, implementing, and complying of the project procedures • Supervision of the Construction, Pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities of Instrumentation activities. • Project Progress monitoring and initiate necessary actions to meet the project completion schedules in coordination with other disciplines. Maintain an overview over the entire technical delivery ensuring that all scope is appropriately covered and that all parties clearly understand their requirements and their interfaces with others. • DCS /PLC FAT and Field Instrument Inspection & clearances during various stages of the project • Participate in HAZOP, HAZID studies •Responsible for leading, coordination, mentoring, and supervision for design and engineering and to produce project specific deliverables of high quality. •Responsible for Quality and Workmanship for Instrumentation and automation work at site and ensure that work executed by contractor meets contract specifications, QAP, ITP, Quality management plan. •Responsible for approval of Construction plan and time schedule submitted by contractor and review time to time. •Participate in daily, weekly, monthly meeting with project team & EPC/LSTK consultant/ vendor for the project progress work. •Responsible for manpower, material,machineries etc. are available on time, resolve issues with contractors / Consultant . • Prioritising safety and ensuring all instrumentation systems adhere to industry standard,regulations .
