Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and child-friendly Preschool Teacher (Field Home Tutor) who will be responsible for teaching preschool-aged children at their homes. The role requires delivering engaging lessons, fostering early childhood development, and maintaining a nurturing and safe learning environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Visit assigned student homes and conduct preschool-level teaching sessions.
• Develop and deliver age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
• Focus on early childhood development areas – language, numbers, social skills, creativity, and motor skills.
• Provide personalized attention to each child’s learning needs and progress.
• Foster curiosity, creativity, and positive behavior in young learners.
• Communicate with parents regarding the child’s progress, learning outcomes, and areas of improvement.
• Ensure safety, discipline, and an engaging environment during sessions.
• Incorporate innovative teaching methods, stories, rhymes, and activities.
• Maintain records of student performance and attendance.
• Any additional responsibilities assigned by the academic coordinator/management.

Key Skills & Qualities Required

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and passion for working with young children.
• Creative teaching approach using play-based and activity-based methods.
• Basic knowledge of early childhood education techniques.
• Ability to manage home-based teaching independently.
• ECCEd / Montessori / B.Ed. qualification preferred.
