Field Exec Trainee - Civil

As an experienced professional in the field, you will be responsible for a range of key activities including: - Abiding by safe operating procedures within the designated operating range - Acting as the first responder to emergencies and swiftly handling any critical situations - Making valuable suggestions for safety improvements within the workplace - Safely handling hazardous materials and plant wastes, ensuring proper disposal - Contributing to housekeeping activities to maintain a clean and safe work environment - Supporting contract workmen in adhering to safe working practices - Monitoring and controlling field equipment following SOPs, SOCs, LLF checklist, and ODR instruments - Maintaining close coordination with shift superintendent/panel executive for seamless operations - Collecting and delivering samples from the field for laboratory testing - Promptly reporting any abnormal observations to the shift engineer/panel executive - Efficiently performing handover/takeover of equipment during maintenance activities - Conducting condition monitoring using portable instruments such as ODR - Undertaking minor troubleshooting and maintenance tasks when required - Contributing towards waste reduction and safe handling of chemicals - Operating equipment efficiently and identifying opportunities for improvement - Adhering to the latest safety guidelines and management directives like TQM, EFQM, QCC, 5S, etc. - Maintaining detailed shift logs for the respective area/equipment - Following instructions from the shift superintendent, engineer, or panel officer - Being an active member of the Auxiliary Fire Squad Qualifications Required: - B.Sc./M.Sc. or Diploma in Chemical Engineering Skills & Competencies: - Proficiency in good housekeeping practices - Ability to maintain and upkeep Fire and Safety equipment in the designated area - Familiarity with field logbook/LLF checklist procedures - Skills in waste segregation and proper disposal - Ensuring equipment health through LLF and reporting any abnormalities - Fulfilling identified training needs for self-improvement,
