You are a highly motivated and skilled Process Engineer with a background in mineral processing or metallurgical engineering. You will be responsible for optimizing mineral beneficiation processes, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring product quality and environmental compliance across mineral processing plants or pilot-scale units. Your exposure to base metal processing will be highly appreciated. Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and optimizing mineral processing flowsheets such as crushing, screening, grinding, flotation, magnetic separation, HMS/DMS, etc. You will analyze ore characteristics and interpret mineral data to support process design and performance tuning. Working closely with operations teams, you will identify bottlenecks and improve recovery rates, throughput, and energy efficiency. Monitoring daily plant performance metrics and troubleshooting process-related issues will also be part of your role. Additionally, you will assist in commissioning, testing, and scale-up of new processing equipment and technologies. It is essential to prepare and maintain mass balances, process control documents, and technical reports. Collaboration with geologists, metallurgists, mining engineers, and R&D teams on process development initiatives is crucial. Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations is a key aspect of your job. Staying updated on new technologies, process innovations, and industry trends is also expected. To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of unit operations used in mineral beneficiation and refining. Familiarity with mineralogy and ore behavior in processing contexts is essential. Experience using process simulation software (e.g., METSIM, HSC Chemistry, JKSimMet) is considered an asset. Knowledge of safety standards and environmental compliance in mineral processing plants is required. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are necessary. You should be able to work in cross-functional teams and adapt to field or plant environments. Ideally, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mineral Processing, Metallurgical Engineering, Geology, or Chemical Engineering. A minimum of 3-6 years of hands-on experience in a mineral processing or extractive metallurgy environment is preferred. Preferred skills for this role include experience in process commissioning, debottlenecking, or optimization projects, working knowledge of data acquisition and control systems (PLC, SCADA), understanding of geometallurgy and its application in process design, and exposure to pilot plant trials or laboratory-scale mineral testing. This is a full-time position that requires in-person work at the designated location.,
