In this role as a Field Surveyor at Mobitech, you will be a key player in gathering crucial data essential for the planning, design, and implementation of irrigation automation systems. Your responsibilities will include conducting on-site surveys, collecting accurate information, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment of cutting-edge solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough field surveys to assess the existing irrigation infrastructure and environmental conditions. - Utilize surveying tools and equipment to gather precise measurements and data. - Collect and document relevant data on soil types, topography, water sources, and other factors affecting irrigation efficiency. - Work closely with the engineering team to ensure accurate data interpretation. - Collaborate with farmers, landowners, and other stakeholders to understand their requirements and concerns. - Provide clear communication on survey findings and proposed irrigation solutions. - Create detailed maps and reports based on survey data for use in the design and planning phases. - Maintain accurate and organized documentation throughout the survey process. - Ensure the quality and reliability of collected data by conducting regular checks and validations. - Address any discrepancies or issues promptly and efficiently. - Demonstrate flexibility to work in diverse geographical locations and adapt to varying environmental conditions. - Willingness to travel extensively as per project requirements. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Agriculture, Engineering (EEE, ECE, E&I and any electrical domain), or a related field. - Proven experience in field surveys and data collection is an advantage. - Familiarity with irrigation systems and agricultural practices. - Proficient in using surveying tools and equipment. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
