You will be responsible for basic electrical control panel design with PLC system. This includes preparing and submitting panel drawings as required, as well as creating FDS, Logic Flow Diagrams, and Test procedures. You will configure, program, and test PLC panels, and interface with high-level control systems such as BMS/SCADA and other equipment. Additionally, you will be expected to troubleshoot control panels at the factory or project site, along with any other duties as assigned. To qualify for this position, you must possess a Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering and have more than 5 years of experience in a related field. You should have hands-on experience in control panel troubleshooting and be able to select and size the PLC configuration based on project requirements and number of I/O points. Experience with various field devices like photo sensors, proximity switches, level sensors, and transducers is essential, along with hands-on experience in communication protocols like RS232, RS485, and TCP/IP. You must be proficient in writing application programs in Ladder logic and Statement List for PLC systems such as Omron, Allan Bradley, Siemens S5, S7, PCS7, and Mitsubishi. It is crucial to interface with high-level control systems, prepare necessary Functional Design Specifications, Logic Flow Diagrams, and Test procedures, and perform the T&C of PLC panels. The primary responsibility for this role is to lead Building Management System global projects detailed engineering as per country specific standards from India center of excellence. You will be independently executing projects throughout their lifecycle, including handling first level escalations. Your main focus will be following processes, maintaining required quality standards, and ensuring on-time deliveries to guarantee customer satisfaction. In this role, you will review MEP drawings to identify HVAC equipment, dampers, and sensors. You will also review control specifications and sequences of operations. Your tasks will include generating initial review sheets and RFIs, creating Bill of Materials, selecting sensors, control valves, dampers, air flow stations, controllers, and handling control devices and controller wiring, terminations, and interlock wiring. We are looking for candidates with a Diploma or BE/ME in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Electronics, along with 2 to 10 years of relevant experience in the Building Automation Industry or Industrial Automation. Japanese language proficiency with certification is a must-have. You should possess a strong knowledge of System architecture with various types of Operator workstations, Supervisory Controllers, DDC controllers, Sensors, and Actuators. As an Instrumentation Engineer with a Diploma / Associate Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, you are expected to have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in instrumentation design, particularly in Offshore Engineering Projects. Your familiarity with offshore oil & gas platforms, FPSOs, or offshore wind structures will be valuable in this role. Proficiency in AutoCAD, S3D, or MicroStation is required, along with an understanding of instrumentation control systems, field devices, and hazardous area equipment. Your knowledge of loop diagrams, hook-ups, and P&IDs will play a key role in your responsibilities. Your key responsibilities will include preparing and updating instrumentation drawings such as instrument layouts, hook-up drawings, loop diagrams, cable routing, tray layouts, junction box layouts, wiring details, and termination details.
