Responsible for overseeing and coordinating design-related activities at the project site, ensuring the proper execution of engineering designs according to industry standards, client requirements, and project specifications. This role involves a close collaboration with other field engineers, design teams, and project managers to support the successful completion of oil gas hydrocarbon petrochem EPC project. Key Responsibilities: 1. Site Engineering Support: Provide engineering support and oversight during the construction phase to ensure designs are implemented according to plan. Review and interpret technical designs, drawings, and specifications, and ensure these are adhered to on-site. 2. Field Coordination and Design Adjustments: Collaborate with design and construction teams to implement necessary field changes, design adjustments, or modifications. Coordinate with project managers and other teams to communicate design changes and project updates. 3. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all field activities align with project quality standards and industry codes, including ASME, API, and OSHA regulations. Conduct quality checks on engineering works, and participate in testing, verification, and validation procedures. 4. Technical Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot technical challenges that arise during construction, proposing solutions to ensure project timelines and standards are met. Support project staff in understanding complex engineering concepts and resolve design issues as needed. 5. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain records of design changes, approvals, and on-site engineering documentation. Prepare regular reports detailing project progress, engineering challenges, and design changes for management review. 6. Safety and Compliance: Ensure field designs adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations. Collaborate with HSE teams to conduct safety assessments related to design and construction activities. 7. Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to communicate design intent and resolve project queries. Attend and lead meetings to provide updates on engineering designs, progress, and site modifications. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical OR Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 18-25 years of experience in field engineering, design, or a related role within the oil and gas or EPC industry. Certifications: knowledge of industry codes and standards Technical Skills: Proficiency in multi disciplinary engineering management/ co ordination
