Job Description

You will be responsible for performing daily reconciliations to ensure that risk aligns with the firm's books and records. In this role, you will monitor and support trade life cycle processes for financial products such as Bonds, Futures, and Options. Your duties will include conducting pre-matching of trades to minimize settlement failures and liaising with Front Office, Back Office, Risk, and IT teams to resolve trade breaks and aged exceptions. Timely escalation and resolution of trade breaks in accordance with SLAs will be a key part of your responsibilities. Moreover, you will contribute to continuous improvement and automation of operations by identifying process inefficiencies. You will support control functions such as exception monitoring and dealer position reporting for Rates/Credit/Debt desks. To excel in this role, you must possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Sound analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential. Additionally, knowledge of Euroclear, DTC, and Trade Life Cycle, along with an understanding of bond markets and pre-matching processes, will be beneficial. Proficiency in basic Excel functions is also required. Ideal candidates for this position should have a minimum of 3 years of experience, ideally 4-5 years in Fixed Income Operations. The shift timing for this role is EMEA Shift from 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM IST. The location of the job is Bengaluru with a Hybrid Work Model in place.
