Key Responsibilities: Oversee end-to-end production operations of the corrugated plant in Khopoli Monitor daily output to ensure targets are met in line with plant capacity (120 MT/month). Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in adhesives and polymers used in the packaging industry for Khopoli (Maharashtra) Location In-depth knowledge of lamination adhesives, pressure-sensitive adhesives, hot-melt, water-based, and solvent-based systems . Develop, test, and optimize adhesive formulations suited for packaging applications such as lamination, labeling, sealing, and flexible packaging. Plan and execute the setup of a new adhesive manufacturing unit including machinery selection, layout planning, and commissioning of operations. Evaluate and recommend raw materials and suppliers specific to packaging-grade adhesives and polymers. Ensure that adhesives meet packaging industry standards for bond strength, food safety, barrier properties , and environmental compliance. Work closely with the packaging design and product development teams to tailor adhesives to evolving substrate combinations (e.g., PET, BOPP, PE, paper). Troubleshoot adhesion failures and lead root-cause analysis during production or customer feedback loops. Set up process workflows, SOPs, and quality control systems for the new adhesive manufacturing plant. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance, cost-efficiency, and sustainability.
