Position Summary Client: Reliable CRO providing CRAMS & Drug Discovery Services Position: Group Leader - Discovery Chemistry (USA, EU & Japan) Reporting to: CEO (India) + Head-Chemistry (USA) Team Handling: 6/8 members Role & responsibilities 1. Fee-for-Service Project Leadership Manage 15-20 concurrent custom synthesis projects (1mg-10g scale) Develop client-specific quotation templates with: 1. Technical feasibility assessments. 2. Competitive pricing strategies. 3. Risk mitigation plans (alternate routes, backup suppliers). Ensure audit-ready documentation for IP-sensitive projects. 2. Winning Quotation Development Craft technically compelling proposals highlighting: 1. Kemio's unique capabilities (e.g., exotic heterocycle expertise). 2. Case studies of similar molecules delivered. 3. Value-add services (free analytical characterization, stability studies). Collaborate with BD team to benchmark against 3 competitor quotes per RFP. 3. Operational Excellence Maintain FFS project dashboard tracking: 1. Resource allocation (FTE hours vs. budget). 2. Critical reagent inventory levels. 3. Client communication logs. Implement rapid response protocol for urgent quote requests (24h turnaround).
