As a Regional Sales Manager for fertilizer sales operations in the Nalgonda Region, you will be responsible for developing and executing regional sales strategies in alignment with company objectives. Your role will involve managing, coaching, and supporting a team of Area Sales Managers, Sales Executives, and Agronomists. You will be instrumental in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with distributors, cooperatives, and large farms while monitoring sales targets, market trends, and competitor activities to adjust plans as necessary. Your expertise in market analysis will be crucial in determining customer needs, pricing strategies, and product positioning. Building strong relationships with channel partners, retailers, and agricultural influencers will be essential, along with collaborating with marketing, product development, and supply chain teams to align regional efforts. Ensuring adherence to compliance, credit policies, and company sales protocols will also be part of your responsibilities, as well as reporting on regional performance metrics, forecasts, and budget utilization. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Business, or related field (Masters preferred). - 10-12 years of experience in agricultural input sales, with a focus on fertilizers. - Proven experience in regional team management and dealer network development. - Strong understanding of crop nutrition, soil science, and local farming practices. - Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. - Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite. - Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
