Position: Manager/Sr Manager - Procurement (Ferrous / Non Ferrous Metal Scrap) Location: Gurgaon Experience: 8+ years (including at least 5+ years in ferrous or non-ferrous metal scrap procurement ) About the Company: A global trading & supply chain organization specializing in metals and recycled products, known for bringing operational transparency and cost efficiency to traditionally fragmented supply chains. Role Overview: We are seeking experienced procurement professionals to lead strategic sourcing and supplier management for ferrous and/or non-ferrous metal scrap . You will develop procurement strategies, build supplier networks, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure supply continuity and cost optimization. Key Responsibilities: Define and implement procurement strategies for ferrous and/or non-ferrous scrap Build and manage relationships with domestic and international suppliers Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms Monitor global & domestic market trends to inform purchasing plans Oversee end-to-end procurement operations from sourcing to delivery and payment coordination Drive cost efficiencies and risk mitigation without compromising quality Partner closely with logistics, finance, sales and planning teams Implement process improvements and use procurement tools / ERP systems Ensure compliance with regulations, internal controls and ethical procurement standards What Were Looking For: Strong experience in procurement of metal scrap (ferrous, non-ferrous or both) Proven vendor management and negotiation skills Commercial mindset with cost-saving and risk mitigation experience Familiarity with procurement tools and ERP systems Excellent communication, analytical and stakeholder management skills High integrity, problem-solving mindset, and resilience under pressure

Knowledge on Quality systems, PPAP, APQP would be preferable. Must possess Total Cost Ownership. Active, Self-motivated and curious to know the business requirements and should co-ordinates with multiple departments. Must have Track record of Strategic Sourcing castings and Forgings, Vendor Development, Best Purchasing ethics and Code of Conduct.
