Job Description

Western/Folk Dance Teacher (Female)

Location: Samashti International School, Hyderabad
Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience working with schools
Gender Preference: Female

Roles and Responsibilities:

Conduct engaging and structured dance classes in Western and Folk dance styles for students of different age groups.
Develop lesson plans and choreography suitable for school performances, competitions, and annual events.
Encourage students’ creativity, rhythm, and movement skills while maintaining discipline and enthusiasm.
Organize and coordinate dance events, cultural programs, and inter-school competitions.
Collaborate with other teachers and departments to integrate dance with academic and extracurricular activities.
Provide individual attention to students to enhance their performance and confidence.
Ensure a safe and positive learning environment in dance sessions.
Stay updated with the latest dance trends and teaching techniques.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's or Diploma in Dance, Performing Arts, or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience teaching dance in a school setting.
Proficiency in both Western and Folk dance styles.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Passionate about working with students and fostering their artistic growth.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
