Carrying out simulations to evaluate the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of automobiles Analysis of the simulation results and derivation of the necessary measures for the product design Validation of the simulations based on measurement results and optimization of the calculation methodology Documentation and presentation of work steps and work results as well as project and customer support Tools EMC simulation: - CST Studio Suite -EMCoS - Feko - ANSYS HFSS / Maxwell - Comsol (not used by us, but comparable to the other tools) Skills and experience Successfully completed studies in electrical/ communications/high-frequency engineering, mechatronics, physics or a similar qualification. Good knowledge of electronic hardware, ideally experience with EMC simulations, enjoyment of working with computers and great interest in automobiles Basic knowledge of EMC-compliant design, CISPR/ISO standards, ECE-R10 and EU-RE desirable Good knowledge of spoken and written German and English, a willingness to communicate and a systematic and thorough way of working.
