Job Details- Planning, scheduling and ordering of PM as per manufacturing program and maintain smooth production and optimal inventory levels. Job Purpose- Planning, scheduling and ordering of PM as per manufacturing program and maintain smooth production and optimal inventory levels. Principal Accountabilities- 1. Ensuring, ordering and receipt of packaging materials on time/in full 2. Liaison with Packing Material Contracting team to ensure correct rates, terms & conditions of Packing Materials. 3. Meeting emergent Packing Material Requirements from time to time. 4. Planning of Packing Material requirements on the basis of material requirements. 5. Market Intelligence development. Role Requirements / Specifications Experience 1 year in packing material procurement Qualification- BSC-Mathematics Industry FMCG, personal care preferred. Knowledge & Skills 1. Knowledge of key quality parameters and specifications of the packing materials. 2. Understanding of the factors that influence the market price of the Packing Material. 3. Knowledge of local taxes and duties applicable. 4. Prior experience of having worked in an SAP environment. 5. Basic understanding of commodity markets and their price drivers. 6. Knowledge of emerging domestic and international trends and their impact on packing design. 7. Excellence negotiation skills. 8. General awareness and understanding of Economic Trends. 9. Extrovert personality 10. Market intelligence development analysis of suppliers, competitors, feedstock and the market, as inputs for strategy development. 11. Buying Strategy Formulation and suppliers selection.
