Job Description: You are a skilled VMC Programmer cum Operator with expertise in programming, setting up, and operating Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs) within the Automation / Special Purpose Machines (SPM) industry. Your main responsibility is to produce high-precision components for automation and special-purpose machines by creating and editing CNC programs, selecting appropriate tools, and ensuring quality control throughout the manufacturing process. Your key responsibilities include programming and setting up VMC machines based on engineering drawings, operating the machines to manufacture precision parts, and inspecting finished components to meet dimensional accuracy and surface finish requirements. Additionally, you will be required to perform routine machine maintenance, maintain documentation of programs and production logs, and ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies. To qualify for this role, you should have a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in VMC programming and operation within the automation/SPM industry. Your educational background should include ITI/Diploma/BTech in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die Making, or related fields. Proficiency in CNC programming, strong understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings, and material properties, as well as hands-on experience with Haas CNC controls are essential technical skills required for this position.
