Lead Engineer Rotating Equipment Qualification : Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Work Location : Mumbai & Pune Experience : 8 - 15 years of experience Requirements & Responsibilities • Candidate shall have hands on experience of engineering of various rotating equipment as per relevant API and other National & International standards, usually referred in industries including Chemicals, Fertilizers, Refineries, Petrochemicals and Cryogenic Storages etc. • Candidate shall have the experience of working on different types of projects such as PROPOSALS, FEED, EPC, EPCM and PMC etc. • In the capacity of Lead engineer, candidate shall have experience of all stages of engineering including basic selection of equipment, preparation of equipment data sheets, preparation of technical specification, offer evaluation, preparation of technical bid evaluation & recommendation report, preparation of order specification and detail engineering, which includes vendor drawing review, interface engineering and co-ordination with other disciplines and other stake holders, inspection and testing at manufacturers shop, site support during start-up, commissioning etc. • Candidates shall have the experience of working with reputed Indian and International vendors of rotating equipment. • Candidate must have excellent communication (written as well as oral) & interpersonal skills and ability to articulate ideas with other parties /agencies involved. The Hardware Design & Fabrication Specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining the standard solution for Hardware and to efficiently engineer that solution. The candidate must have working experience in oil & gas industry- leading projects . Experience with System including power and grounding requirements, field cabling requirements and field wiring typicals for IO signals, equipment, installation, connection, power-up and site acceptance testing. Extensive experience in Front End Engineering Design (FEED), Detailed Design, Implementation, Test, Installation, Commissioning & Start-up of an Integrated Control & Safety System and Process Power Management (PPM) system in the Oil & Gas, Chemicals & Refining or Power & Water Industry with focus on efficiency improvements. Experience working with internal and external panel shops performing cabinet fabrication and testing. Cost Estimation- • Closely monitor engineering and fabrication KPIs on projects and develop/maintain an estimation model. Also Provide input to the Tendering organization to update the engineering estimating models to reflect efficiency improvements, new technology and new standard solutions as they evolve. Good understanding on how to design and fabricate a cabinet. Knowledge from applicable industry and electrical standards such as UL, ATEX, CSA. etc. Knowledge with engineering tools (e.g. EBase): Flexible and able to travel internationally when required.
