As a Telecom Engineer with 5 to 15 years of experience in Telecom systems like CCTV, PA/GA, LAN System, Access Control System, VSAT, EmmarSAT, Telephone both Analog and IP-based etc for an O&G / Petrochemical plant from a Detail Engineering contractor side, your responsibilities will include: - Detailed designing of Telecommunication systems based on Client requirements by referring to FEED documents like Specification, Design basis, basic Block diagram, etc. - Generating all ITB documents and drawings like Block Diagrams, Layout drawings, Cable schedule, Technical Bid Evaluation, etc. - Preparation of Project and FEED documents such as Design Basis, System Specification, Block Diagram, Telecom Architecture, Datasheets, Equipment List, Cable Schedule, Equipment Layout Drawing, etc. - Coordinating with other departments like Instrumentation, Electrical, etc. - Reviewing various drawings including Block Diagram, Overall Block Diagram, Equipment Layout, Cable Routing Drawing, DMD, General Arrangement Drawing, Termination Drawing, Wiring Diagram, etc. - Designing Telecommunication systems based on project specifications. - Coordinating with clients and vendors on project-related issues. - Liaising with clients and vendors regarding commercial and technical matters. - Providing support to the Tender team for BOM preparation and drawing/document preparations. - Conducting front-end engineering design for PAGA System, Fiber Optic System, and OTN System. - Detailed system designing for Telephone system and preparation of all related documents and drawings. - Generating documents such as Bill of material, Functional Design Specification, Site Acceptance Test, Procedure, Factory Acceptance Test Procedure. - Generating drawings such as Block Diagram, General Arrangement Drawing, Wiring Diagram, and Termination Diagram. - Confirming equipment based on project specifications and technical compliances. As a Mechanical Engineer at Worley, you will be responsible for carrying out activities related to mechanical equipment groups, including basic engineering packages and detailed engineering. You will utilize your hands-on experience to prepare and update technical specifications and datasheets for various rotating equipment based on project-specific requirements. In addition, you will be involved in vendor offer evaluation and technical bid analysis for equipment and packages. Furthermore, you will independently prepare equipment layouts for warehouse areas, process areas, and utility areas based on project-specific requirements, with the assistance of a draftsman. Your role will also include executing projects as a Lead Engineer, ensuring proper and timely execution, as well as managing multiple projects in the same capacity. Effective coordination with various departments such as projects, piping, civil, electrical, and instrumentation during design execution is crucial. You will be responsible for ensuring that the department's quality management system is followed, considering any special contractual requirements. Timely completion of documents and drawings, along with client approval, will be part of your responsibilities. Your role will involve the development and implementation of activities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and productivity within the department through the latest technology and methods. You must have a Mechanical Engineering degree and a minimum of 20 years of experience in the Mechanical Department of a consultancy organization. Understanding process P&IDs and instruments, as well as knowledge of utilities, water systems, rotary equipment, pumps, hygienic design, and utilities systems like cooling water system, boilers, compressed air, and instrument air system, is essential. Good communication skills for coordination with clients, vendors, suppliers, and other engineering disciplines are required. Leadership qualities are crucial, as you will be leading and guiding a group of engineers. Participation in safety reviews such as HAZOP, SIL, 3D model reviews, and experience in preparation of FEED documents, PMC projects, etc., are part of the role. Exposure to national and international codes and standards is beneficial. Other functions that would be advantageous include good mobility, leadership quality, presentation skills, revamp project experience, and pre-commissioning/commissioning start-up experience. Awareness of software like AutoCAD and Navisworks is desirable.
