The ideal candidate will be responsible for perform various job duties based on the size of the heating and cooling projects they work on, the type of property where systems are needed, and the heating and cooling needs of clients. The candidate must have a strong understanding of HVAC engineering principles and the ability to work collaboratively with other engineering disciplines. Key Responsibilities: 1. Calculate Heating and Cooling Needs: Conduct load calculations to determine heating and cooling requirements for different spaces and equipment. 2. Interpret and Draft Plans: Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprints to design HVAC systems. Prepare detailed drawings and schematics for ductwork and piping systems. 3. Calculate Ventilation Requirements: Determine ventilation needs and design systems accordingly, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. 4. Determine Budget Costs: Estimate costs for HVAC systems and equipment, preparing comprehensive budget proposals for clients. 5. Coordinate with Others: Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to ensure seamless integration of HVAC systems with overall building design. 6. Adhere to Building Codes: Ensure all designs and installations comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and standards. Obtain necessary permits as required. Role Purpose: To perform regular preventive and corrective maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) at client facilities, ensuring optimal system performance and a safe, comfortable environment within managed properties.
