As a Fault Management Engineer, resolve network and customer faults, manage critical outages, and ensure overall network integrity and performance. Performs proactive O&M, assesses network changes, and provides technical support to optimize network operations. Requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and operational skills, with participation in on-call rosters for critical situations.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Fault resolution of network and customer faults in a timely and efficient manner.
- Manage Critical Faults and Outages in the network, and perform Impact assessment of network configuration changes.
- Develop other team members to enhance their technical expertise, and will assess and mitigate the risk of any network changes.
- Create and update support documentation & will be monitoring of Projects and Change Requests with respect to network integrity.
- Verification of the implementation of network configuration changes in accordance with detailed designs
- Develop and support of various O&M and Routine procedures and any tools to assist and improve in maintaining the network.
- Ensure any new network elements that are to be commissioned into the network are operationally accepted to avoid performance issues.
- Provide technical support to Operations in performance, capacity, and configuration to maintain and optimize Network performance.
Key Skills And Experience
Must-Have-
- 5+ years experience in telecommunications or related industry.
- Experience in Operations and preferably Managed Services.
- Any certifications F5,CCNP, CCSP, CCIP, CCIE, CCSA, CCSE, JNCIA,JNCIP.
- Proven ability to work with others to meet common objectives and customer expectations.
- Able to work in a changing environment and able to adapt to these changes.
- Proven excellence in Planning, Leadership, Communication, Negotiation, Problem Solving, and Organizational influence.
Nice-To-Have:
- Takes initiative to creatively resolve issues and find solutions.
