You are a hands-on and responsible Facility Supervisor assisting the Facility Manager in overseeing daily operations, maintenance, and infrastructure support at our Production Plant. Your role involves coordinating technical staff, monitoring facility systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of utilities, plant equipment, and workspaces. Your key responsibilities include managing day-to-day facility-related activities such as housekeeping, waste & scrap management, fuel distribution, vehicle management, safety & emergency management under the guidance of the Facility Manager. You will supervise the upkeep of plant areas including sanitation, pest control, lighting, ventilation, security & visitor management, and monitor the functioning of utilities like water systems, generators, and compressors. You will also be responsible for supervising and assigning work to in-house technicians (plumbers, electricians, mechanics), ensuring timely preventive and corrective maintenance of plant equipment and building systems, and reporting breakdowns, maintenance delays, or material requirements to the Facility Manager. Additionally, your role involves monitoring the performance and attendance of support staff, providing technical guidance where necessary, and ensuring all safety practices and standard operating procedures are followed. You will maintain daily maintenance logs, utility usage reports, and update live trackers, along with real-time asset data management and assisting in vendor coordination as required. You will also support during audits, inspections, and safety checks. To qualify for this role, you should have a Diploma or ITI in Mechanical/Electrical/Facility Maintenance or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in plant/facility supervision preferably in the agricultural or seed industry. Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical systems, and seed processing equipment, as well as familiarity with safety standards and preventive maintenance schedules, are required. Key skills for this role include leadership and coordination abilities, problem-solving and fault detection skills, basic technical and tool-handling knowledge, effective communication and reporting skills, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. You will be required to work in a field-based supervision role within indoor and outdoor areas of a seed production plant, which may involve shift work or extended hours during peak processing/harvest seasons. We are seeking a skilled and proactive Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to lead our plants electrical maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with industrial electrical systems in the steel industry, including HT/LT panels, PLCs, VFDs, and motors.
