As the Customer Technical Solution Manager at Bunge, located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, your primary responsibility will be to provide technical support to customers in the designated regions and collaborate with sales managers in the commercial team. Reporting to the R&D Director India, you will lead the technical team in India and engage with other Technical Solutions managers, specialists, and technologists in PG/XM. Your role will involve traveling to meet customers alongside the commercial team to ensure the company's business objectives on product acceptance and approval are met. Understanding customers" pain points, providing technical solutions, and maintaining deep relationships with customer accounts and decision-makers will be crucial aspects of your job. You will coordinate activities with application specialists, conduct training programs for customers in the application lab, and support the preparation of exhibitions that the company attends. Additionally, you will contribute to organizational talent growth and people management within the CTS team. To excel in this role, you must hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Food Science/Technology, Chemistry, Physics, or related disciplines, with a preference for candidates with an MS or Ph.D. You should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the food, fats, and oils industry, particularly in confectionery. A strong background in fats and oils in the food industry is essential to fulfill customers" technical needs effectively. Excellent presentation and communication skills are necessary to share knowledge, describe customer requirements, and collaborate with the sales team and management effectively. You will be required to travel with sales managers to support customers in India, South & Mid Asia. Moreover, your role will involve increasing the application capability of the technical teams with special applications and showcasing this capability to customers during workshops.
