Job description for Sr Engr/Lead Engr- FEA Simulation Looking for candidate with sound theoretical background and practical experience of 3-7 years in FEA. -Capable of independently handling simulation tasks by analysing the problem statement and expected output. - Construct and solve high fidelity FEA models of ELGIs Products; through these analyses provide recommendations to Product Engineering on the adequacy of the design bounded within the constraints of the product development metrics. -Should exhibit competency in addressing Linear & non-linear Static Stress analysis assignments and linear dynamics modelling for the strength and durability assessments . -Must have exposure to High cycle and low cycle fatigue failures . - Demonstrate the familiarity with Abaqus, FE-Safe and Hypermesh products for their best practices and procedures for their capabilities. - Should have sound engineering background and strong foundation in Structural mechanics and Material science. -Must have good communication skills and capable of converting simulation work to generate clear and concise technical report to simulation requestor -Candidate should be from Compressor/automotive/ heavy machinery background. -Python Programming skills and scripting skills is an add-on advantage.

You will be responsible for leading a team, ensuring technical excellence, and coordinating cross-functional activities to deliver innovative and reliable solutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of pod shells and radomes, ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards. Oversee stress and vibration analysis for structural integrity and durability. Coordinate effectively with structural, antenna, and other related teams to ensure seamless integration of design elements. Mentor and guide team members to achieve project milestones and maintain high-quality standards. Review and approve design drawings, calculations, and analysis reports. Identify potential design challenges early and implement corrective actions. Ensure adherence to project timelines, budget, and quality requirements. Qualifications & Skills: M.Tech/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience in pod shell and radome design. Strong knowledge of stress analysis, vibration analysis, and structural design. Experience with CAD software and simulation tools. Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in defense or aerospace projects. Familiarity with military-grade electronic systems and testing standards. Project management skills and exposure to Agile or similar methodologies. Proficiency in CAD and simulation tools such as CATIA, ANSYS, or similar software. Strong understanding of materials selection and manufacturing processes related to radomes and pod shells.
