The Design / Inspection & Testing Engineer PANEL position is based in our Vasai Factory and we are seeking a male candidate residing on the western railway between Andheri-Virar. As a Design / Inspection & Testing Engineer PANEL, you will be responsible for various key relationships both internally and externally. Internally, you will work with Technicians/Operators, Production & QC Engineer/Supervisor, and externally with Third Party Railway Inspector, Customer, and Supplier. Your responsibilities will include studying customer requirements and preparing BOM, SLD, Wiring diagram, and GA Drawing in consultation with the Managing Partner. You will release BOM, Drawings, etc., after Managing Partner's approval and coordinate with production panel Head & Purchase for material procurement and manufacturing of the panel. Additionally, you will be involved in manufacturing supervision, process supervision, testing, and inspection as required. You will also update BOM/GA Drawing etc. after successful in-process & Routine Testing and coordinate with Customers for FAT procedure and guide QC engineer for Routine and acceptance test of the panel. Furthermore, you will coordinate for Customer and Third-Party Inspections such as RDSO, and RITES for finished goods inspection from raising inspection call till getting dispatch clearance note. You will be responsible for preparing the final BOM, installation Manual, as-built drawing, etc. after successful customer inspection. Additionally, you will visit the site at the customer's end where the panel is installed for attending complaints if any and provide online and offline training to customers based on Installation and Operation Manual. The ideal candidate for this position should have a minimum of 5 years of experience for Diploma Engineers and 3 years for Graduate Engineers in a similar position in the relevant electrical manufacturing industry. As a Telecom Engineer with 5 to 15 years of experience in Telecom systems like CCTV, PA/GA, LAN System, Access Control System, VSAT, EmmarSAT, Telephone both Analog and IP-based etc for an O&G / Petrochemical plant from a Detail Engineering contractor side, your responsibilities will include: - Detailed designing of Telecommunication systems based on Client requirements by referring to FEED documents like Specification, Design basis, basic Block diagram, etc. - Generating all ITB documents and drawings like Block Diagrams, Layout drawings, Cable schedule, Technical Bid Evaluation, etc. - Preparation of Project and FEED documents such as Design Basis, System Specification, Block Diagram, Telecom Architecture, Datasheets, Equipment List, Cable Schedule, Equipment Layout Drawing, etc. - Coordinating with other departments like Instrumentation, Electrical, etc. - Reviewing various drawings including Block Diagram, Overall Block Diagram, Equipment Layout, Cable Routing Drawing, DMD, General Arrangement Drawing, Termination Drawing, Wiring Diagram, etc. - Designing Telecommunication systems based on project specifications. - Coordinating with clients and vendors on project-related issues. - Liaising with clients and vendors regarding commercial and technical matters. - Providing support to the Tender team for BOM preparation and drawing/document preparations. - Conducting front-end engineering design for PAGA System, Fiber Optic System, and OTN System. - Detailed system designing for Telephone system and preparation of all related documents and drawings. - Generating documents such as Bill of material, Functional Design Specification, Site Acceptance Test, Procedure, Factory Acceptance Test Procedure. - Generating drawings such as Block Diagram, General Arrangement Drawing, Wiring Diagram, and Termination Diagram. - Confirming equipment based on project specifications and technical compliances.
