As a Public Cloud Engineer with our investment banking client in Mumbai, you will be responsible for leveraging your technical expertise to support the AWS platform and automation technologies. You will have the opportunity to work with Rancher/RKE2 and AWS EKS Kubernetes environments, as well as containerization technologies such as Docker/Podman. Additionally, you will utilize monitoring and logging solutions like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack to ensure optimal performance. To excel in this role, you should possess 5-8 years of hands-on experience in AWS platform and automation technologies such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Ansible. Your proficiency in containerization technologies, along with strong communication and collaboration skills, will be crucial for effective interaction with cross-functional teams. Moreover, your problem-solving skills and ability to thrive under pressure will help you navigate challenging situations. Preferred qualifications include AWS and Kubernetes certifications, experience with IAC technologies like Terraform Enterprise, and proficiency in Python for cloud API automation. Your familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, interest in emerging technologies, and knowledge of hybrid and multi-cloud strategies will further enhance your contributions to the team.
