As a Purchase Executive, you will be responsible for managing the manufacturing supply chain efficiently. You must have a strong understanding of supply chain management in the manufacturing industry, including sourcing raw materials from various vendors across India. It is essential to establish a network of agile manufacturers in different locations to ensure timely delivery of purchase orders and maintain good relationships with vendors for long-term partnerships. You will be required to coordinate with the logistics team to facilitate the movement of materials from sources to vendors and internally. In this role, you will also be responsible for sourcing bought out parts and fasteners, developing and maintaining a database for supply, material prices, and availability, and preparing RFQs to analyze cost benefits. Additionally, you will need to maintain an inventory database, replenish stock based on minimum levels, and create strategic plans for purchasing raw metals and consumables for the mid to long-term period. The ideal candidate should have 3-7 years of experience in procurement, specifically dealing with EN series steel, stainless steel, aluminium, inch size fasteners, and other materials. Preferred skills for this position include material cost estimation, research and development, effective communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills. This is a full-time position with benefits such as provided food, health insurance, and provident fund. The work schedule is during the day shift, and the job location is in person. Role & responsibilities Manage and monitor finished stock movement: receiving, storing, and dispatching Maintain accurate inventory records and stock ledgers Ensure physical stock matches system records through regular cycle counts and audits Coordinate with production, sales, and dispatch teams to align stock availability with demand Implement stock management best practices to reduce loss, damage, and misplacement Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and binning of all finished goods Prepare and present regular stock reports to management Ensure compliance with safety and storage protocols in the warehouse/store area Train and guide junior store staff on standard procedures Preferred candidate profile 3-8 years of experience in store/inventory management Prior experience in the fasteners , hardware, or heavy manufacturing industry (strongly preferred) Worked as a store manager or assistant manager in a large-scale organization or high-volume manufacturing unit Practical experience handling high SKU volumes and batch-wise inventory Strong communication and coordination skills Familiarity with ISO standards and quality documentation is a plus
