Key Responsibilities

• Design & Concept

  Create seasonal themes and garment designs aligned with SKALY's aesthetic.

• Sketch & Pattern

  Prepare detailed sketches, technical drawings, and patterns for production; create tech packs and send them to manufacturers.

• Fabric & Color

  Source fabrics and trims; develop cohesive color palettes with a focus on sustainability.

• Sampling & Fit

  Oversee sample making, conduct fit sessions, and refine until production-ready.

• Trend & Market Research

  Track fashion trends and customer preferences to keep designs relevant.

• Presentation & Launch Prep

  Build lookbooks and design notes for manufacturers and marketing use.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Fashion Design (or strong equivalent portfolio).
• Proven experience in women's ethnic wear design, pattern making, and garment construction.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar design tools.
• Strong eye for color, drape, fabrics, and contemporary ethnic styles.
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning the full design cycle in a start-up setting.
