As a Fabric and Material Selection Specialist, your role involves sourcing and advising on the selection of suitable natural and synthetic textiles. You will ensure that the chosen textiles are fit for purpose and meet quality standards. Your responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with designers and manufacturers to translate concepts into producible garments - Suggesting design modifications and advising on construction methods - Overseeing fabric testing and conducting quality checks on samples and finished products - Analyzing returns to address faults - Ensuring efficient production within budget and to the correct specifications - Implementing and advising on sustainable practices within the development and production processes - Providing technical advice to designers and other teams regarding materials, construction techniques, and potential production challenges - Ensuring the correct technical documentation is used and followed throughout the garment creation process In addition, the company emphasizes sustainability practices and values quality control to deliver high-quality products to customers. The role requires someone within the age range of 20 to 29.
