Fashion Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and motivated Fashion Design Intern to join our design team. This role offers hands-on experience in the fashion industry, from concept development to production. You will assist in research, sketching, sampling, and preparing collections, while gaining exposure to the end-to-end design workflow.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating design sketches, technical drawings, and mood boards.
• Conduct trend research, including colors, fabrics, silhouettes, and market insights.
• Support fabric and trim sourcing; maintain sample and swatch libraries.
• Help in developing tech packs, measurement sheets, and product specifications.
• Coordinate with pattern makers, tailors, and production teams during sampling.
• Support fittings and make necessary design adjustments as guided by the designer.
• Prepare digital files, layouts, and presentations for collection planning.
• Assist with photoshoots, styling, and social media content when needed.
• Organize and maintain design archives, samples, and studio workspace.

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or related field.
• Strong sketching skills; proficiency in Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop or similar tools.
• Good understanding of fabrics, garment construction, and fashion trends.
• Attention to detail, creativity, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
