Job Title: Fashion DesignerJob Summary

A Fashion Designer creates original clothing, accessories, or footwear by researching trends, developing designs, and overseeing the production process to ensure quality and style.

Key Responsibilities

Research current fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and styles
Create sketches, mood boards, and design concepts
Develop patterns and select fabrics and materials
Collaborate with tailors, merchandisers, and production teams
Oversee fittings and make design adjustments
Ensure designs meet brand identity and quality standards
Prepare collections for presentations or fashion shows

Required Skills

Creativity and strong design sense
Drawing and sketching skills
Knowledge of fabrics, colors, and garment construction

Communication and teamwork skills
Time management and organization

Qualifications

Degree or diploma in Fashion Design or related field (or relevant training)
