Job Description

We are looking for a creative and experienced Malayalam-speaking Fashion Designer who has strong knowledge in women’s innerwear, bra, panties, shapewear, camisoles, nightwear and athleisure design.
The candidate should be able to handle design development, sample creation, market study, and product innovation independently.

Roles & Responsibilities1. Design & Development

• Create new designs for bras, panties, shapewear, camisoles, slips, nightwear, and athleisure.
• Develop mood boards, color palettes, trims, lace concepts, fabric ideas, and tech packs.
• Work closely with sampling team to produce accurate samples.

2. Market & Trend Research

• Study latest trends in women’s innerwear (national & international).
• Conduct competitor analysis and identify new product opportunities.
• Stay updated on fabric innovations, sustainable materials, and fashion trends.

3. Product Sampling & Fittings

• Coordinate with sample master and production team for sample development.
• Conduct fit trials and ensure perfect fitting as per company standards.
• Make necessary corrections and finalize patterns/designs.

4. Fabric, Trims & Accessory Coordination

• Work with vendors for lace, elastics, cups, wires, hooks, trims etc.
• Choose right materials for comfort, quality, and cost efficiency.

5. Documentation & Technical Work

• Prepare tech packs, measurement charts, design sheets and production notes.
• Maintain proper documentation for all designs and versions.

6. Communication & Language

• Should speak Malayalam fluently to communicate with designers, sampling team, and influencers from Kerala market.
• Coordinate with marketing team for photoshoots, catalog ideas, and styling.

7. Production & Quality Support

• Assist production team in understanding design details.
• Ensure quality standards are maintained for every style.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 2–4 years experience in women’s innerwear/lingerie industry.
• Strong knowledge in bra fitting, cup design, elastics, trims & garment construction.
• Proficiency in CorelDRAW / Illustrator / Photoshop preferred.
• Fluent in Malayalam (Mandatory).
• Creativity + Technical knowledge + Practical understanding of production.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
