About the Role:

We are looking for a creative and passionate Fashion Designer with hands-on experience in designing women’s or kid's Indian ethnic wear & fusion wear such as Salwar Kameez, Kids Garment Churidar, Ghaghra Choli, Kurtis, and more.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with leading retail brands and contribute to collections

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop new collections for Indian ethnic women’s wear
• Create detailed sketches, mood boards, and design concepts aligned with market trends
• Work closely with pattern makers and artisans to produce garment samples
• Source fabrics, trims, and embellishments in line with the design vision
• Supervise sample execution to ensure fit, finish, and quality
• Stay updated with trends and bring fresh design ideas to the table
• Collaborate with merchandising, production, and buying teams

Desired Candidate Profile:

• 2–4 years of professional experience in ethnic wear fashion design
• Strong understanding of Indian textiles, embroidery, and traditional silhouettes
• Proficiency in sketching and design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Ability to visualize market needs and translate ideas into ready-to-produce garments
• A keen eye for detail, silhouette, color, and fabric combinations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Fashion Design degree or diploma from a recognized institute (NIFT, Pearl, etc.) preferred
