Job Title: Farm Technicians – Oil Palm Plantation Project

About Us:
CMGA is a leading industrial group in Senegal, expanding its portfolio into agribusiness as part of its long-term diversification strategy. We are launching a large-scale oil palm plantation project and are seeking skilled and motivated Farm Technicians to join our local team from the start.

Position Overview:
As a Farm Technician, you will play a key role in establishing and managing our oil palm plantation. You will assist with land preparation, planting, crop maintenance, pest/disease management, irrigation, and harvesting activities under the guidance of the Plantation Manager and Agronomists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in field preparation, nursery management, and transplanting of oil palm seedlings.
• Monitor and maintain crop health, including pest and disease control.
• Support fertilizer application and irrigation activities.
• Carry out pruning, weeding, and harvesting tasks.
• Maintain records of field operations and report progress to supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma/Certificate in Agriculture, Agronomy, or related field (preferred- Not Mandatory).
• Previous experience in plantation or farm operations (oil palm, corn, rice, pepper etc experience is an advantage).
• Ability to work in agricultural settings and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Team player with good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow with the project.
