As an Air Ticketing Agent at our company located in Moti Nagar, you will play a crucial role in handling flight bookings, ticket reservations, cancellations, and modifications for both domestic and international travel. Your strong knowledge of airline ticketing systems, proficiency in using Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo, along with excellent communication skills will be key in providing top-tier customer service to our clients. Your responsibilities will include booking and confirming flight tickets, processing ticket cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds according to airline policies, providing accurate information on flight schedules, fares, and travel regulations, and assisting clients with visa, baggage, and other airline-related inquiries. Staying updated with airline promotions, discounts, and policy changes, handling travel-related emergencies, and maintaining accurate documentation of all transactions will also be part of your role. To excel in this position, you should have proven experience as an Air Ticketing Agent or in a similar role, proficiency in using GDS platforms, a strong understanding of airline ticketing rules and travel regulations, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask and work under pressure, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. A Bachelor's degree in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred, along with certification from IATA or other relevant travel organizations.
