As a CAM Programmer at our company located in Semmipalayam, Palladam Taluk, your primary responsibility will be to support in estimation for customer RFQ's and generate tool paths using UG Nx, MasterCAM, or Hypermill software. You will play a crucial role in selecting the right cutting tools and cutting parameters, creating setup sheets, and maintaining the latest revision levels of all engineering documents. Additionally, you will be involved in FA prove-out on the machine, adhering to the quality management system, and focusing on continuous improvement. The ideal candidate for this position should hold a qualification of ITI or Diploma, B.E, or B.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, or Mechatronics with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in CAM programming. It is essential that you possess knowledge of GD&T, strong drawing interpretation skills, and experience in Turning and Milling (up to 3 axis strategy). Experience in machining various materials such as Aluminium and its alloys, Stainless steel and its alloys, Low alloy steel, Inconel, and Titanium, as well as experience in operating VMCs, Turning centers, and VTLs, will be highly valued. Familiarity with AS9100 Rev D documentation and knowledge of Siemens, Fanuc, or Heidenhain controllers will be advantageous for this role.
