Installation & Wiring: Install, connect, and test electrical systems, including wiring, circuit breakers, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate installation. Run and bend conduit, pull wires, and properly terminate connections. Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to prevent failures and ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems, using testing devices like multimeters and oscilloscopes to find root causes. Repair or replace faulty wiring, broken fixtures, or damaged equipment. Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, electrical codes (e.g., National Electrical Code - NEC, or local regulations), and company policies. Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards, passing inspections as required. Take necessary precautions to prevent accidents and electrical hazards. Problem-Solving & Project Support: Collaborate with project managers and other technicians to complete projects on time and within budget. Identify and recommend solutions for electrical issues or improvements. Assist with material procurement, ensuring the right tools and supplies are available for each job. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including installation, maintenance, and repair logs. Prepare and submit timely reports on job status, materials used, and any challenges encountered.
