Key Deliverables: Purchase Planning & Budgeting Budgeting & Forecasting: Plan material requirements and budgets based on production and sales forecasts. Supplier Management: Expand vendor network, negotiate for quality, cost, and timely delivery. Material Classification: Categorize materials (A/B/C class) and develop cost lists for streamlined procurement. Budget Analysis: Review quarterly variances, compare actual vs planned costs, and take corrective actions. Sustainability Initiatives: Optimize material usage through reuse, recycling, and waste conversion. Operational Efficiency: Ensure optimal allocation of resources for smooth production flow. Process Standardization: Implement SOPs for procurement, purchasing, and material management. Costing & Price Finalization: Prepare costing sheets for raw materials and negotiate finished goods pricing. Candidates profile: Rich experience of 7+ years in leading the Purchase function in similar set up dealing in electrical appliances industry. Sound understanding of production schedules, procurement planning and technical specs for products. Good written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal and multidisciplinary knowledge. Persuades and influences others, conflict management, vendor management.
