About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable faculty member in Gemology & Diamond Grading who can inspire students through theory, practice, and real-world insights. If you have a keen eye for detail, strong teaching skills, and industry experience, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging classes in Gemology (colored stones, synthetics, treatments) and/or Diamond Grading (4Cs, certification standards, sorting).
• Conduct hands-on lab sessions with professional gem & diamond grading instruments.
• Assess and guide students through both theoretical and practical evaluations.
• Stay updated on global standards, treatments, synthetics, and industry trends.
• Mentor students with academic guidance and career counseling.
• Support in course development, paper setting, and evaluations.
• Represent IIG South at events, exhibitions, and guest lectures.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate/Diploma in Gemology or Diamond Grading from a recognized institute.
• Prior teaching experience is highly valued.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Proficiency in English (regional language skills are an advantage).
• Comfortable using digital teaching tools (PowerPoint, digital microscopes, etc.).

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
