Faculty Fashion design

The Fashion Design Faculty member is responsible for teaching, mentoring, and guiding students in various aspects of fashion design — including conceptual development, textiles, fashion illustration, Clo3d, Draping and portfolio development. The role involves fostering creativity, technical proficiency, and industry readiness through innovative teaching methods, practical exposure, and academic research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver lectures & sessions, and workshops in areas such as fashion illustration, draping, fashion forecasting, and design software (Adobe Illustrator, CLO3D, etc.).
• Develop and update curriculum and course materials in line with current industry trends and academic standards.
• Evaluate student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations.
• Supervise student design projects, internships, and graduation collections.

Mentorship & Guidance

• Mentor students in developing creative concepts, technical skills, and professional portfolios.
• Provide career guidance and support in placements or entrepreneurial pursuits.

Qualifications & Skills:

Technical Skill: Should have Bachelor in Fashion Design/ Fashion Design qualification (should be good in Fashion Illustration, Draping & Fashion CAD with CLO3D)

• Minimum 2–5 years of teaching or relevant fashion industry experience.
• Strong portfolio showcasing creative and technical expertise.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire creativity and innovation among students.
