As an expert in developing student and teacher-related content materials at Prayoga Institute of Education Research in Bengaluru, your role will involve creating, reviewing, and finalizing content for student learning, particularly focusing on middle and secondary school-level Science. You will design activities for science experiences, teach Science using the inquiry-based method to inspire students, and participate in long-term teacher empowerment programs. Additionally, you will mentor in-service teachers, collect and maintain relevant data for education research, and contribute to discussions and activities that support the transformation of schools, teachers, and students at Prayoga. **Key Responsibilities:** - Create, review, and finalize content for student learning in middle and secondary school-level Science - Devise activities for science experiences - Teach Science using the inquiry-based method to inspire students - Participate in long-term teacher empowerment programs - Mentor in-service teachers - Collect and maintain data for education research - Support the transformation of schools, teachers, and students at Prayoga **Qualifications:** - Degree in Science, Education with a B.Ed or any teacher training degree preferred - Masters degree in Chemistry - Familiarity with pedagogy and content development - Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in science (preferably Chemistry) - Good interpersonal and observation skills - Excellent written and verbal communication in English & Kannada - Familiarity with basic use of computers and the internet - Willingness to travel as required You will receive training in conducting teacher empowerment programs, observation and mentoring skills, data collection, management, and analysis, as well as some pedagogical approaches.
