Key Responsibilities
The Engineer shall perform the following
- Review facility inspection findings from prior surveys, nondestructive test reports to develop scope.
- Review & update P&ID/isometric drawings to prioritize inspections in areas susceptible to internal corrosion.
- Comprehensive understanding of relevant regulations, Industry codes, and standards (e.g., API 570, ASME PCC 2, ASME B31.3, ASME B31.4/ B31.8, API 1104, ASME B16.5, ETPs) to ensure compliance.
- Communication with various stakeholders regarding recommendations after each inspection.
- Awareness of fabrication of piping segments, welding, installation, Nondestructive, Hydrostatic testing & coating of piping segments.
- Prepare Segment analysis table to perform inspection at various pipeline facilities.
- Identify the locations to be inspected from past nondestructive test reports & inspection Summary's.
- Evaluate the recommendations of Nondestructive testing contractor & provide rectifications to enhance integrity of each facility.
- After discussion with stakeholders recommendations are transferred for uploading into GE-APM.
- Identify Dead legs in each facility.
- Review of P&ID, general arrangement drawings & isometric drawings
- Review of inspection reports & Nondestructive test reports.

Work Experience
- 3 to 5+ years experience with Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering. Specialization in Nondestructive Testing is an advantage
- Experience in Oil and Gas domain with Upstream or Downstream refinery
- Knowledge in Oil and gas codes & standards.
- Exposure to RCM, Preventive maintenance
- Exposure to Risk Based Inspection is an advantage.
