Facilities Maintenance Technician (Electrician & Plumbing)

As an Electrician cum Plumber working with our company, your primary role will involve handling electrical and plumbing maintenance tasks in both hotel/guest room settings and construction/project sites across Karnataka. Your key responsibilities will include: - Performing regular preventive maintenance of electrical systems such as lighting, fans, switchboards, geysers, and AC units in hotels and guest rooms. - Diagnosing and resolving plumbing issues like leaks, clogs, and faulty fixtures in bathrooms and kitchens. - Installing or repairing water heaters, showers, taps, and flush tanks to ensure proper functioning. - Ensuring that all maintenance work is carried out efficiently with minimal disruption to guests. - Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities. Additionally, for site work at construction/project sites, your responsibilities will include: - Installing and maintaining electrical wiring, panels, and plumbing fittings at project sites in adherence to safety codes. - Conducting underground and over-ground plumbing line installations and repairs. - Testing systems for leaks, short circuits, and compliance with project requirements. - Collaborating with civil teams and other technical staff to ensure timely completion of all electrical and plumbing works at the site. Qualifications required for this position include a Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or relevant work experience. You may be a fresher or have a minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role. As a full-time and permanent employee, you will be expected to work from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with flexibility in working hours. You should be open to travel as needed for business purposes, with the work location primarily in Mangalore and various project sites across Karnataka, with expenses covered by the company.
