Dear Candidate, Greetings from RightHire!! We've been retained by India's no.1 real-estate developer to fulfil its manpower requirement. And currently, were scouting for Deputy Manager / Manager - Facade Design to be based out at its corporate office, Mumbai. Candidate should meet below job description Job Duties and Responsibilities Manage the entire facade design development- right from concept to finalization within approved budget. Coordinate with Architects, Structures, Interiors, Facade consultant, CM and MEP teams and agree on interface details and identify specific requirements if any. Prepare and float the tender documents. Approval of vendors design submittals in compliance with architects intent and constructability etc. Pre-contracts: Propose affordable facade options based on project/ policy guidelines for architects approval. Manage the entire design process with consultant/ architect which include preparation of facade tender drawings, BOQ, Technical specifications, SCC, GCC. Initiate VE to fit facade costs within approved. Presentation of the facade tender to bidders and respond to their queries. Rating of vendors with reference to their compliance in technical submission, previous experience with bidder, financial capability, etc. Post-contracts: Approval of facade design and samples in compliance with contract. Visit vendor and his suppliers factory to check for material status and quality check. Attend coordination meetings at site and HO. Resolve design issues if any with vendor and highlight recurring delays to PD for necessary action. Facilitate closure of variation claims (cost and time) from vendor and resolve all issues related to project completion (non-availability of material, not getting approval from consultant and Arch, any workmanship issue, fabrication issue, etc). Review inspection reports of works carried out at vendors factory/ site and initiate corrective action as per approved samples/ VMU/ PMU. Resolve any issues related to project completion (non-availability of material, not getting approval from consultant and Arch, any workmanship issue, fabrication issue, etc.) and highlighting cost impact due to such changes to PD. Review As built drawings. Job Requirement: Experienced in completing high rise facade projects within the approved time and cost and have min 7 yrs experience (for BE) and min 10 yrs (for Diploma). Basic knowledge of facade engineering principles, fabrication methods, quality assurance and installation methods and well versed with standard codes.
