Facade Designer - Aluminium Windows & Doors - Mumbai

We are looking for a Facade Designer to join our client's team, which specializes in providing comprehensive home interior solutions, such as Aluminium windows, Sliding folding doors and Windows, Aluminium fabricators, Glazing, and Assembling windows. As a candidate for this position, you should possess strong designing skills related to Aluminum/ UPVC windows/Doors and Facades Glazing. Key responsibilities will include handling AutoCAD drawing rectification, generating production drawings, preparing Bill Of Materials (BOM), estimation & costing, and creating cutting lists for glass sizes. You will also be responsible for preparing measurement sheets for projects, supervising projects, interacting with customers and designers to understand job scope, and preparing shop drawings and ID Installation Drawings. A successful candidate should have a solid understanding of Material Take Off (MTO) for ACP, Glass, Aluminium, Accessories G.I., and miscellaneous items. You will be required to prepare optimization reports for ACP, Glass, and Aluminium, production work orders, and fabrication drawings for various materials. Proficiency in creating Isometric drawings in AutoCAD and developing detail drawings is essential for this role. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing purchase orders for the purchase department and visiting project sites as needed. The ideal candidate for this position should have a B.Tech/ B.E Mechanical qualification with 5 to 10 years of experience in the Aluminium Windows industry. This is a full-time job based in Mumbai Suburban, with a day shift schedule.
